Opportunity Description
UPMC Mercy is hiring a Full Time Food Service Host to support the Dietary and Cafeteria department!
This position will work 4 days per week with rotating weekends/holidays. Shifts are from 7:30am-6pm.
Preferred candidates will have previous food service or customer service experience.
Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction with food service utilizing customer service skills. Delivers and serves nutritionally appropriate and attractive meals in a timely manner. Practices appropriate food handling techniques and food safety procedures in all aspects of job.
Responsibilities:
+ Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with customers.
+ Adheres to department procedures regarding the operation of all food service equipment.
