Position Summary
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring fleet availability, operational readiness, and maintenance effectiveness at the BCLM site. This role provides hands‑on leadership and oversight related to safety, R&M, asset management, and operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Availability & Operational Readiness
- Ensure sufficient road‑ready units are available daily to meet operational requirements
- Coordinate truck assignments based on utilization, vehicle condition, and job requirements
- Minimize fleet downtime through proactive maintenance planning and repair prioritization
- Act as the single point of accountability for fleet availability to Operations
- Maintenance & Repair Oversight
- Schedule, track, and manage preventative maintenance (PMs) in alignment with Fleet‑prescribed weekly tracking systems
