Join Loyola College as a Fixed-Term EAL Teacher starting July 13, 2026. Teach English as an Additional Language to students in Years 7-12 and support their language development.
Loyola College is a Co-Educational Catholic School with a focus on Ignatian values and an enrollment of 1450 students. This part-time position for Term 3 of 2026 allows candidates to enhance their teaching skills while contributing to a diverse learning community. Although prior experience in teaching English or LOTE is desirable, it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide EAL instruction for Year 7-12
• Design and implement effective lesson plans
• Assess and report on student academic performance
• Encourage a welcoming learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues on integrated teaching methods
Requirements:
• EAL teaching qualification or related experience
• Experience in teaching English or LOTE preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
