Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Steel Fitter to join a busy fabrication team. In this role, you will primarily fit structural steel skid packs with tight tolerances, perform occasional flux core and MIG tack welding, and use a variety of cutting, fitting, and layout techniques to assemble high-quality structural components.

Responsibilities

• Fit structural steel components, with a focus on skid packs, to precise tolerances using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform tack welding using flux core and MIG processes as required to support fitting and assembly work.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to lay out and assemble structural steel components accurately.
