Summary This position is located in the DEA, Human Resources Division, Office of Training, Academy Operations Section, Financial Management Unit (OTAF). This position(s) primary purpose is to approve invoices and voucher for payment in a highly automated financial management and acquisition system; performs analysis of financial information using queries and reports; provides customer support; validates accounting data, reconciles accounts; and analyzes accounting processes. Responsibilities As a your typical work assignments may include: Prepares a variety of tracking, monitoring, performance, and analytical reports for management. Collects, reviews and validates financial data to support managing resources for assigned program areas. Analyzes and evaluates records, documents, and relevant data for assignments where audit objectives are known, audit steps are well defined, programs are stable, and data findings are not in conflict.
