Join Windsor Fire & Rescue Services as a Firefighter. Engage in emergency response and rescue missions while contributing to community safety in a full-time capacity.
This position with the City of Windsor requires a committed Firefighter ready to respond to emergencies, including fire, hazardous materials, and medical situations. You will conduct public education, assist in inspections, and participate in rigorous training to keep skills sharp. The role demands adaptability and readiness for demanding situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond actively to medical and fire emergencies
• Control and stabilize scenarios within various environments
• Provide CPR and first aid when necessary
• Clean and maintain firefighting equipment and station
• Participate in public relations and education initiatives
Requirements:
• Ontario Secondary School diploma is mandatory
• Current, valid Class ‘D’ Driver’s License...
