Summary About the Position: This Fire Protection Engineer position is with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, Engineering and Construction Division, Engineering Branch with a duty station location of Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities The incumbent serve as the district staff specialist and authority in fire prevention, fire protection, and life safety engineering. The incumbent is responsible for the design and review of plans for the numerous construction program being carried out by the district. The incumbent has full and final responsibility for the technical accuracy and adequacy of the fire prevention, fire protection, and life safety features of the design. As the technically responsible specialist in this field, the incumbent is called on for advice and opinions on matters within or touching upon the specialization.
