Financial Counselor (Sat & Sun 2pm-10pm)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Counselor.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for assisting patients, regardless of insurance coverage or type, with understanding and meeting their financial obligations to NYUMC. Evaluates patients' financial status and coordinates with physician offices to ascertain patients' medical needs in order to determine eligibility for hospital-based assistance such as alternate payment arrangements and charity care.

Job Responsibilities:

Facilitates the appropriate admission of patients to inpatient services.
