Financial Analyst II

Position Summary

Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Accountant is accountable for analysis of the Financial Statements for two plants and the consolidated results - Mississauga and North York. The individual will ensure the accuracy of the financial statement close process, performance of internal controls (including account reconciliations), analysis and timely, insightful, action-oriented variance reporting and overall leading‑edge financial support.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide analysis and commentary to financial results (target audience includes Corporate Finance and Plant Operations);
• Preparation and analysis of key operational and financial reports as part of monthly packages;
• Standard cost and variance analysis, yield reporting and understanding of bill of materials;
