About the Opportunity
1. Forensic Risk Assessment & Line in the Sand (First 14 Days)
- FY26 Opening Balance Audit: Perform a comprehensive risk assessment of the inherited Trial Balance. Identify potential sloppy accounting or technical debt in opening balances to be flagged to the Board immediately.
- Recap Entry Validation: Audit the execution of the recapitalization entries to ensure the FY26 starting position is technically sound and compliant with PE sponsor requirements.
- Liability Isolation: Proactively identify and document any accounting irregularities or process gaps from previous cycles to ensure the new CFO has a clear Day 1 baseline.
