Field Technician (Prince George)

Professional Positions for Agrologist, Archaeologist, Biologist, Foresters are primarily field based, however some office duties will be involved. Other assigned duties may include vegetation inventories, species‑at‑risk assessments, riparian assessments, silviculture surveying, GPS traversing, and other related field duties.

Assets for this position include:

• BC Accredited Silviculture Surveyor
• or a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a related field
• Able to work with others in a team environment and independently
• Being physically fit
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Valid Class 5 Driving Licence and Safe Driving Record
• Valid Level 1 First Aid and WHMIS Certificates
• Professional level skills in problem solving, decision making and organizational abilities
• Have robust computer and associated software skills
• Demonstrate good communication and technical writing skills
