Field Operator - Union

Position Summary

Reporting to the Field Operations Foreman, with day-to-day direction from the Lead Operator, the Field Operator is responsible for the safe operation and condition of assigned wells, compressor stations, booster compressor stations, and gathering systems within a field area. The Field Operator operates equipment within established operating envelopes, monitors production, and takes corrective action to maintain safe, reliable, on-specification production.

Working from a field station and across dispersed field sites, the Field Operator monitors operations via SCADA/HMI and physical rounds, performs operator preventive maintenance and minor maintenance, supports isolation and work control, executes corrosion-mitigation and chemical programs, and accurately records field data. The role is a key entry and development pathway toward the Lead Operator position.
