Fiber Splicer

Position Overview We are seeking experienced Fiber Splicers for a 5-6 month project in El Paso, TX. This position will be responsible for performing fusion splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and installation support for fiber optic infrastructure on a military installation. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently while maintaining quality workmanship and project timelines. Responsibilities Perform fusion splicing of single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables. Prepare, terminate, splice, and test fiber optic cables and related components. Conduct OTDR testing and interpret test results to verify network performance. Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic systems as needed. Read and interpret construction drawings, splice diagrams, and network documentation. Maintain accurate splice records, test documentation, and project reports.
