A client in the Jacksonville FL area is seeking two Fiber Optic Technician for a contract opportunity, with possibility of fulltime conversion. This Technician/Fabricator will support the assembly, termination, and testing of fiber optic cable assemblies used on U.S. Navy aircraft and platform systems. This role focuses on building and testing fiber optic cables from drawings—not field installation or internet line work.
The Fiber Optic Technician will work closely with the Electrical and Fiber teams during a significant surge in production, supporting both current electrical workloads and upcoming fiber builds driven by newly released customer drawings.
They will be responsible for fabricating and assembling single‑strand fiber optic cable assemblies in accordance with customer drawings, job routers, and work instructions. This role includes performing end‑to‑end fiber terminations on cable assemblies ranging from approximately 4 to 50 feet in leng...
