Farm Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee crop production, ensuring optimal plant health and yield.
• Monitor and manage workers, equipment, nutrition programs, IPM programs, irrigation, etc.
• Oversee and/or conduct regular scouting and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies.
• Work closely with all team members to optimize farm conditions and production schedules.
• Maintain detailed records of crop performance, treatments, and environmental conditions.
• Collaborate with owner to improve growing techniques and efficiencies.
• Oversee and direct health and safety program.
• Oversee maintenance program for equipment and infrastructure.
• Other responsibilities/tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• Pesticide License an asset
• Exterminator License an asset
• Minimum of 3 years on farm experience
