Role and Facility Information

We are looking for a permanent family practice physician to join our group of seven physicians at a vibrant clinic in Castlegar. The clinic is staffed by a highly skilled RN, social worker, physiotherapist, and full‑time administrators. Physicians are encouraged to develop a practice that delivers high‑quality longitudinal care while allowing for specialty interests.

All staff support a team‑based, EMR‑supported (Profile) environment. Physicians may work clinic‑only shifts, assist with our local emergency department (open 7 days a week, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.), or participate in hospitalist, OB, or pediatric rotations 25 minutes away at our regional hospital. Trainees and community physicians also help cover the ER when needed.

Teaching is an optional, appreciated component. The nearby Trail UBC teaching centre provides opportunities to precept medical students and family practice residents.
