Faculty: Cardiac Surgeon

FACULTY POSITION: DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY, DIVISION OF CARDIAC SURGERY The University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking candidates to join the full-time faculty of the Division of Cardiac Surgery. This role is comprehensive and requires individuals who are board-certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery or have completed training in an accredited Cardiothoracic Surgery residency or fellowship program. Responsibilities will include establishing a broad Cardiac Surgery practice at the University of Maryland Medical Center, conducting independent clinical or laboratory research, providing care to complex cardiac surgery patients at the Downtown Campus, contributing to the comprehensive growth of cardiac surgery throughout the Medical System, and educating medical students, surgery residents, and fellows.
