Faculty, Architectural and Building Technology

BCIT’s School of Construction and the Environment is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty for the Architectural and Building Technology diploma program to teach various courses starting in the Fall 2026 term. The ideal candidate will bring broad industry experience into the classroom, maintain course curriculum, demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, and cultivate positive relationships with students and colleagues.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction through a variety of activities, including lectures, labs, and experiential learning
• Develop and maintain a curriculum aligned with course learning outcomes, current industry standards, and new technologies
• Assess student learning fairly and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Organize field trips, construction site visits and guest speakers
• Facilitate and maintain creative and positive learning environments
