Facilities Attendant

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Facility Attendant provides facility user support to enhance the quality, safety and standards of customer experience and facility operations. This part‑time, permanent position is part of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE). The primary work location is the Border Paving Athletic Centre. The schedule consists of four shifts a week, typically from 11:00 am–4:00 pm. Salary ranges from $22.98 to $26.42 per hour. The role reports directly to the assigned Facility Supervisor or designated supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform basic janitorial and general cleaning of facility spaces to ensure safe and clean operation.
• Re‑stock and monitor washrooms and other areas for supplies and materials.
• Set up and take down of facility rooms, spaces and equipment as directed.
