Become a part of Magellan Aerospace in Winnipeg as a Maintenance Mechanic. This full-time position emphasizes troubleshooting and maintaining essential plant machinery.
In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of all mechanical equipment within our manufacturing plant. The Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) will apply their expertise to diagnose and repair machines, including CNC units and hydraulic systems. Expect to operate in a unionized setting with necessary shift work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance on factory machines
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC and hydraulic equipment
• Install new equipment when required
• Adhere to safety protocols and practices
• Manage time effectively under deadline pressures
Requirements:
• Interprovincial Red Seal certification as a Millwright
• At least three years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in working with complex machinery
