Opportunity Description
Join the dynamic VIDO Project team in Saskatoon as an Experienced Carpenter Journeyperson, focusing on advanced concrete formwork tasks. This role operates on a 5 days on, 2 days off schedule.
Working with Graham and Technical Workforce Inc., you’ll oversee constructing concrete forms, erecting scaffolding, and mentoring apprentices. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential as you maintain site standards and address any abnormalities. Your past experience with industrial carpentry will be invaluable in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and assemble forms for concrete accurately
• Identify and rectify formwork deficiencies promptly
• Construct necessary hoarding and temporary structures
• Ensure work accuracy and safety on-site
• Mentor and lead apprentice carpenters
