**Job Summary and Qualifications**
This position requires expertise in leading and prescribing exercise for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. The exercise physiologist will serve as a role model for cardio/pulmonary rehabilitation by integrating the role components of clinician, teacher, consultant, administrator and researcher. Assessing, assisting with exercise, and charting are everyday job components. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor.
