Our client in the Civil/Building industry is looking to employ a Suitably Qualified and Experienced ESTIMATOR. Applicants must be aware of the strict requirements and the need for extensive travel.
Key responsibilities Ensure standard procedures are adhered to and any specific client requirements have been taken into account and attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits Prepare detailed accurate material, labour, equipment, subcontracts, construction facilities, etc. estimates Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work and accept, review, and analyze subcontractor quotes for best value Prepare project schedules, perform quantity take-offs and input quantities into estimating software Present cost estimates to meet Employers requirements, providing consideration for general and special conditions Foster rel...Interested in this opportunity?
