Responsibilities
- Analyze plans, specifications, and tender documents
- Perform quantity take-offs
- Evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs
- Obtain and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Prepare bids in response to calls for tenders
- Participate in site visits as needed
- Collaborate with project teams (project managers, engineers, etc.)
- Maintain up-to-date cost databases
- Participate in contract negotiations and award processes
- Complete bid closing and archiving
