Opportunity Description
Our client, Elite Interiors NT Pty Ltd t/as DCT Australia, is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join its workshop team based at Howard Springs Quarry.
Duties include:
- Diagnose, inspect, service and repair heavy diesel engines, transmissions, drivelines, braking, steering, suspension and hydraulic systems.
- Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on heavy diesel vehicles, earthmoving equipment, mobile plant and trailers.
- Inspect, test and diagnose mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment, service manuals and manufacturer specifications.
- Repair or replace worn, damaged or defective mechanical components to restore equipment to operational condition.
- Dismantle, overhaul, reassemble and test diesel engines, components and associated mechanical systems.
