Equipment Management Group Leader, Maritime

You will be leading the Maritime Equipment Management Group as part of the Defence Equipment Management Organisation (DEMO) within NZDF. You will be shaping, influencing and leading the delivery of responsive, cost effective, asset management to enable the NZDF to meet its strategic and operational objectives.
A typical day may include:
* Providing strong people management and leadership through coaching and mentoring of diverse teams.
* Overseeing the management of resources for maritime equipment
* Contributing practical input across all phases of the NZDF capability life cycle including definition, delivery (equipment acquisition), in-service, and disposal.
* Enabling the development of asset management policy aligned with NZDF's Maritime legislation.
* Managing operating and capital expenditure, contracts and stakeholder relations.
