Opportunity

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for a dependable, highly motivated individual for the position of Environmental Services (cleaner/housekeeper trained to work in healthcare) that is dedicated to both high-quality work and safety. AHS will provide the necessary training to safely clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinical areas, office areas, and other common staff/public areas in accordance with Alberta Health Services standards and practices. Shift schedules may include a combination of day, evening, nights, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
• Restocking supplies in bathroom facilities
• Stripping linen and making beds
• Operating industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance and restoration
• Thorough washing of ceilings and windows
• Emptying hazardous waste
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and linens
