Environmental Services Floor Technician 2nd Shift 5pm-1:30am

Job Summary

The Floor Care Technician focuses on Infection Control and Prevention by providing proper cleaning and sanitation throughout the hospital and assigned site campuses.

Reports To

Supervisor, Environmental Services

Job Specific Responsibilities

• Refine and maintain floors and carpets throughout the main hospital and any assigned campuses.
• Ensure clean utility rooms, stairwells, freight elevators, and common areas for visitors and staff.
• Collect and dispose of soiled linen, and assist with clean linen distribution, when needed.
• Provide minor general maintenance tasks including but not limited to hanging drapes/cubicle curtains, moving furniture, etc.
• All other assigned duties related to Environmental Services.

Education and Experience

Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
