Summary This position is located in Padre Island National Seashore, in the Division of Science and Resource Management. Responsibilities The purpose of the position is to perform a variety of complex and diverse assignments within one or more of the following general areas: rulemaking and regulation, compliance and enforcement, environmental considerations and documentation, and/or program administration and oversight. The incumbent is responsible for managing compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other federal environmental legislation and determines the compliance pathway for a wide variety of planning efforts and projects, including categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, and environmental impact statements, as well as the scope, framework, format, and content of major planning efforts.
