Opportunity Description
Lead compliance efforts at Invenergy as an Environmental Compliance Engineer. Drive technical support and ensure emissions standards are upheld within our power plant operations.
This role as Plant Engineer involves reporting directly to the Plant Manager while taking ownership of all environmental compliance tasks, including permitting and emissions reporting. The engineer is expected to provide technical guidance, manage communication with regulatory agencies, and support the health and safety management system on-site while performing essential compliance duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all environmental permits and testing requirements
• Collaborate with regulators to address permit concerns
• Direct technical support efforts for plant staff
• Manage the technical library resources effectively
• Act as Duty Manager as required in rotation
