FUNCTION

Reporting directly to the E&S Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing environmental licensing and coordinating the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process for a large-scale infrastructure project; leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System, ensuring compliance with Mozambican environmental legislation and international Environmental and Social (E&S) standards, including IFC Performance Standards and the Equator Principles; supporting the development of environmental management capacity within the organisation; providing technical environmental guidance to project teams; developing and implementing environmental compliance plans, procedures and monitoring systems; coordinating environmental permitting activities and supporting the acquisition of all requir...
