This position is eligible for SBCSC’s Employee Referral Program.
English Language Instructional Specialist for South Bend Community School Corporation to assess, monitor, and support English language acquisition across social & instructional objectives. Specifically:
+ Be an onsite test administrator for WIDA, a federally-mandated exam for students whose primary language is not English. (2%)
+ Compile student data for Individualized Language Plans (ILPs) for ENL students in order to monitor their English language acquisition across social and instructional objectives. (6%)
+ Select and monitor various interventions including accommodations and modifications for inclusion in students’ individualized Language Plans. (7%)
