Engineering Technician

Summary This position is located in the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), Facilities Operations and Services Division (FOSD), Facilities Services Group (FSG) Alterations Work Group (A WG). The purpose of this position is to serve as research support, project engineering/program management support, development, and evaluation or engineering/life cycle support of a complex nature. Responsibilities Typical work assignments may include the following Develops statements of work, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for work to be accomplished by service contracts. Ensures statement of work and specifications for all phases contracts are clear, concise, and detailed. Reviews projects, including analyzing blueprints to determine time, cost, materials, and labor.
