Summary You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (MECHANICAL) as the NAVSEA 05P2 WELDING AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE in the MACHINERY RESEARCH LOGISTICS & SHIP INTEGRITY DEPARTMENT (C30), MATERIALS STRUCTURES ENVIRONMENT & PROTECTION DIVISION (C33), STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY, WELDING & NDE (337) of NSWC PHILA DIV. Responsibilities You will apply advanced theories, concepts, principles and processes for assigned areas. You will apply expert welding knowledge to anticipate the effect of probable technological changes on projects. You will represent the command in reaching welding compromises and develop agreements with specialists, engineers and other technical personnel. You will meet with top managers to plan program objectives and goals. You will advise the Activity's management of extremely difficult or unusual technical problems.
