ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Summary You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN for the Officer in Charge of Construction Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (OICC PSNS) for the execution of the Shipyard infrastructure optimization program (SIOP) to include utility, waterfront, and major industrial facilities and infrastructure construction. Responsibilities You will provide engineering support services in the field of construction contracts primarily between the Navy/Marine Corps/Air Force and private contractors. You will evaluate and assure the quality control efforts of the construction contractor. You will validate quantity, condition, and approval of materials on site prior to invoice payments. You will provide overall coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects.
