Engineering Student - Power EGSE - Fall 2026

MDA Space is a global leader in communications satellites, Earth and space observation, and space exploration and infrastructure.

We’re looking for a motivated and talented Engineering Student for our EGSE and Test Data Processing department located at our Sainte‑Anne‑de‑Bellevue office. This is a 4‑month mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in September 2026.

Overall, the successful candidate will be treated similarly to a new graduate, with tasks assigned based on their current level of schooling and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design of test stations and equipment for power converters
• Preparation of conceptual drawings
• Design simulations (LTSpice or PSpice)
• Creation of electrical diagrams and PCBs
• Material lists and assembly drawings
• Manufacturing support for electrical assembly and testing activities
• Support for test documentation such as writing test procedures, user manual...
