Responsibilities
- Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers.
- Conduct research to expand knowledge of the field.
- Design electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment.
- Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
- Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements.
- Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Engineering Science, Physics, or related field.
- 5 years or more experience in electrical and electronic engineering and physics.
- Supervisor experience managing 11-15 people.
- Knowledge of fiber optics, optics and laser physics, failure analysis.
