Hiring: Technical Engineering Manager (Java Development) | Hybrid – Toronto/Waterloo
Location: 250 Bloor / Waterloo (Hybrid)
Contract: 3+ Months (Potential Conversion)
We’re looking for a hands‑on Technical Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams delivering up-to-date digital banking platforms for Bank.
- Strong expertise in Java / Spring Boot
- Experience with Azure & AKS environments
- API architecture & modern application development SME
- Hands‑on leadership / coaching engineering teams
- CI/CD, GitHub, Jira, SDLC tooling experience
- Banking / Financial Services experience is a plus
- Bonus if you have experience with mobile apps (iOS/Android), web banking applications, and cloud-native engineering practices
