Opportunity Description
Elevate your career as the Project Engineer for Ventilation at Gold Fields’ Windfall Project, based in northern Québec. This role demands technical excellence in ventilation engineering and VOD systems management.
As Engineering Lead, you will report to the Area Manager - Mine, leveraging your experience to oversee the ventilation scope and ensure the successful implementation of Ventilation on Demand systems. You will also manage procurement processes and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Approve detailed engineering deliverables from EPCM firms
• Manage procurement packages for ventilation systems
• Develop VOD control philosophy and specifications
• Coordinate commissioning activities for ventilation systems
• Mentor junior engineers and prepare operational documentation
Requirements:
