Energy Specialist

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Director Environmental Management Operations, the energy specialist is responsible for energy related deliverables and supports sustainability initiatives on behalf of IO and client ministries. The position ensures energy management outcomes align with provincial government priorities and corporate initiatives related to utility management and optimizing building operations. This role also assists with managing the specific energy performance, reviewing energy modelling reports and reporting requirements included within the service providers’ P3 contracts.

What You Will Do

• Provide interpretation and review of energy modelling reports that are completed by consultants for projects.
• Validation of the service provider’s P3 energy contract performance.
