Overview

Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) is looking to expand its Emergency Medicine group and is seeking certified individuals (FRCPC Emergency Medicine, CCFP EM, or ABEM) to join our collegial team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, full-service ED where you will see everything from trauma cases to reductions. We currently have a strong team of 15 emergency physicians with an additional group of locums who support approximately 60,000 visits annually through our department. There is excellent specialist support on-site including CT and MRI, and at least double physician coverage for most of the day and evenings. We have an ICU with strong internist support, and regional or local coverage for urology, ophthalmology, and ENT. We have a PCI centre, Level II Trauma Centre, and other sub-specialties readily available within 40 minutes down the valley.
