Summary
Under the general supervision of the Principal or other supervisor, the Preparation Time Specialist teaches classes and/or supervises students during teacher preparation period. The specialist prepares lesson plans and required classroom materials and provides instruction in specialized subject matter areas such as music, art, science, computer operations, media center usage, physical education, and languages.

Hours: 4.2 hours per day, 174 days per year. Salary Grade 6: $19.98 per hour Support Salary Table). Promotions result in a minimum 5% increase.
