Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (RADAR), Position Description Number D1684P01 and is part of the ID 266 RANS, National Guard. This position is Indefinite with Possibility to Non-Competitively Convert at Later Date Responsibilities (1) Deploys, installs, integrates, operates, optimizes, recovers, maintains, and repairs radar systems, sub-systems and components. Ensures that complex air control radar systems are operating at specified technical order (TO) standards and mission requirements. Independently validates operational readiness of complex radar systems for accurate height, range, and azimuth. Validation determines if corrective actions are needed to return the equipment to established tolerances. (2) Integrates and maintains various subsystems such as transmitters, receivers, Digital Target Extractors (DTE), Theatre Missile Defense processors (TMD), Identification Friend or Foe (IFF)...
