Electrician - Technical Services (Temporary for up to 12 months)

Maritime Electric Company, Limited invites applications for the following position: Electrician - Technical Services (Temporary for up to 12 months).

Reporting to the Supervisor, Technical Services, the Electrician - Technical Services is a fully qualified tradesperson responsible for the electrical maintenance of a wide range of instruments, equipment, and apparatus within the department. This position is based at the West Royalty Service Centre (Transformer Section) in Charlottetown; however, travelling for work across the island.

Requirements

• Completed Grade 12 and hold a valid Construction or Industrial Interprovincial Red Seal license.
• Preference to candidates with Industrial Electrician experience.
• Strong working knowledge of utility electrical equipment, standard tools and test equipment, proficiency in the use of computers and applicable software.
