Summary: Responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment on residential and commercial construction projects. Reports to site engineer or maintenance supervisor. Must follow safety and local electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, connect and commission electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, breakers, conduits, and distribution systems according to drawings and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and site plans to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of systems, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs or replacements of components.
