Electrical Engineer

We are seeking highly motivated individuals in developing the next generation single-photon detectors based on semiconductor metasurfaces. At the heart of our detectors is a carefully engineered metasurface — an array of nanostructures whose shape and geometry are tuned to absorb light with near-unity efficiency while controlling where that absorption happens.

QuantumCore Inc. is hiring a full-time Electrical Engineer to design and develop high-speed control electronics around these novel semiconductor metasurfaces to read-out the single-photon detectors with high speed and timing resolution. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and testing of high-speed/RF, analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics for III-V semiconductor based single-photon detectors.
