Electrical Engineer

Reporting to the Director, Technical Services, the Electrical Engineer, Strategic Infrastructure Division (SID) will be a key member of the Build NS Team. This position provides guidance and strategy through all project phases including design, construction and commissioning of electrical systems with a primary focus on both strategic infrastructure healthcare projects of varying scopes and delivery methods.

The Electrical Engineer will be required to develop user requirements; collaborate with specialized user groups, internal and external partners and team members; as well as scope and design efficient systems that maximize energy efficiency, comfort, user and staff safety, enhance asset longevity and ensure optimal return on projects.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (e.g., ABET in the US, CEAB in Canada)
