Responsibilities As an Economist, you will perform the following duties: Serve as a project leader for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Chief Economist Team, strategizing the completion of multidisciplinary research into the economic contribution of NOAA to the U.S. economy, including the impact of environmental phenomena such as severe weather and the economic value of ocean and marine resources. Solve complex economic issues by formulating plans or methods for circumstances that are unprecedented or difficult to define.
