Echo Tech

Under the broad direction of the Manager and Cardiologist, the staff sonographer will perform sonographic examinations for all ages on selective portions of the anatomy as requested by the Physician/Provider. The Staff Sonographer is expected to perform a variety of cardiovascular ultrasound procedures (ETTS, TEES, and Stress echos) with knowledge and ability for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic quality studies. Responsible to obtain patient history and appropriate clinical data to aid in proper diagnostic correlation. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to work scheduled and On-Call hours, if necessary.

Qualifications:

· Education: Graduate of AMA accredited Sonography program or equivalent. Eligible for, or possession of, a valid Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.
