Early Childhood Educator

We are looking for a qualified early childhood educator with a minimum of 2 years experience to work a 4 day week schedule.

Candidate must be qualified with an Early Childhood diploma.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well‑being of the children.
• Plan and carry out educational activities appropriate for the age group by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest and providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.
• Assess children’s skills, abilities, interests and needs.
• Ensure and maintain a clean, hygienic and orderly work environment.
• Ensure good communication with parents by forging links with them.
• Demonstrate professionalism by interacting with co‑workers with empathy, openness and synergy.
